More catching up ...

Back in February we had fun taking our three budding artists up to the Crayola Factory:

We felt really special standing by the largest crayon in the world:

In March, Rebekah participated in the county fine arts festival. She sang with her chorus group, and she had a piece of art on display:

And Samantha's proud moment came from pulling her own tooth!

Catching Up

Here are some random pictures from the last couple months.

We visited the National Cathedral. Beautiful!

My favorite pictures - Christmas morning:

Our ward Christmas party was wonderful - "Christmas around the World"

This week ...

What did I do this week? I finished my second cake decorating class. I finally had enough flowers to decorate a whole cake (which the family promptly devoured):

Then I finished the unthinkable: I put some order to my storage room. I know it's still an ugly, unfinished storage room, but now at least I don't dread going downstairs. Yea for organization!

500,000 Lights

Did you know there are half a million lights at the temple visitor's center? We enjoyed all of them tonight! And we loved hearing our Grampy perform with the Richmond Mormon Chorale.

The letter D

Danielle gets so excited when she finds the letter D anywhere. "D for Danielle!" Imagine her elation when we bought a box of donuts covered with D's! She was speechless.

Fall Festivities

We had the usual fun trick-or-treating on Halloween. We had a cat, a witch, and a Rapunzel (with hair that didn't stay on for more than two minutes).

Rebekah was our pumpkin artist this year. She was very proud of herself.

This year we tried a new pumpkin patch - Temple Hall Farm out in Leesburg. Our favorite attractions were the cow train, climbing the bales of hay, and the corn box - Very fun!
